Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival and transfer to JinjaBegin your day with a pick-up from Entebbe International Airport or your Kampala hotel for a trip to Jinja, Uganda's Adventure City. However, instead of driving straight to Jinja, there will be multiple stops at gorgeous tourist attractions, one of which being Ssezibwa Falls, a thrilling natural and cultural attraction.
While you're here, look for some of the rare bird species, listen to the waterfalls roar, and visit the Cultural Worship Center. Continue your journey to Mabira Forest, where you will take part in an exciting zip-lining adventure where you will see forest tree species, primates, and bird species.
Continue on to Jinja Town for lunch at the Sunset Hotel before heading to the stunning Rippon Falls, end your first day with a boat ride to explore the Nile River's source, as well as various historical landmarks and numerous aquatic bird species. Dinner and an overnight stay in Kampala

Day 2
Drive to Mabamba wetland Sanctuary.On the second day of your 5-day Uganda safari, you'll visit Mabamba Marsh Sanctuary, where you'll see a variety of water and wetland bird species, including the distinctive shoebill stork. Have breakfast at your hotel and be picked up by our driver for the 2 hour drive and ferry crossing to the Lake Victoria shoreline (60 minutes from Kampala to Nakiwogo Landing site, ferry crossing to Buwaya Landing site, and then around 30 minutes to the swamp).
Upon arrival, board a wooden boat for a cruise through Mabamba Swamp, where you can spot bird species such as the shoebill stork, African Jacana, Papyrus gonolek, Malachite Kingfishers, yellow-billed ducks, and long-tailed cormorant.
After lunch, travel to the beautiful Entebbe Botanical Gardens to witness various unique plant species and their uses, as well as numerous bird species not seen at Mabamba Wetland, such as the Orange Weavers. Also keep an eye out for primate species in the lush Botanical Gardens. Dinner and an overnight stay in Kampala

Day 3
Drive to Murchison falls National Park and hike to the top of the fallsDrive to Uganda's most popular and bio-diverse National Park in northwestern Uganda on the third day of your 5-day Uganda safari. Start your 6-7-hour drive to Murchison Falls National Park with an early morning meal and a meeting with your safari driver at 6:00 a.m.
Your excursion will include multiple stops, just like most Ugandan safaris. One is in Luwero Town to buy some excellent fresh fruits and plantains known locally as "Gonja," and the other is in Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to see the country's sole wild Rhino population. Continue till you reach Masindi Town for lunch and then proceed straight to the park entrance gate, where you will be greeted by curious Olive baboons and other animals.
Hike to the top of the Murchison Falls to watch how massive amounts of water forcefully travel down a 7-meter-wide chasm, providing a stunning spectacle to see. After that, you'll be driven to the Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Travel time: 6-7 hours.
Day 4
Morning Game drive and afternoon boat cruiseGet up early in the morning to catch up with the Park's early risers before heading to their hideouts. Breakfast should be consumed by 6:00 a.m., and the game drive should begin thirty minutes later. You will likely see nocturnal species such as leopards, lions, and spotted hyenas, as well as Buffaloes, Uganda Kobs, waterbucks, Elephants, Topis, Rothschild giraffes, common elands, and warthogs. Return to the Lodge about 11:00 a.m. to finish the game drive and relax before lunch.
Have lunch by 12:30 or 1:00 p.m. so you can start the boat journey to the bottom of the fall at 2:00 p.m., where enormous schools of hippos and large basks of Nile crocodiles, as well as antelopes, elephants, and buffaloes, are relaxing along the riverbanks. For dinner and overnight, return to the Lodge.

Day 5
Return to KampalaAfter breakfast, depart for the final game drive, which will provide opportunities to spot creatures not seen the previous days.
