Day 1 of our expedition begins at Nyakalengeji, where you’ll meet our experienced guides and porters. After a thorough briefing, you’ll embark on the Central Circuit Trail, hiking through the lush tropical rainforest and ascending to Nyabitaba Camp. The camp is situated in a clearing surrounded by tall trees, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
As you ascend, you’ll pass through the vibrant tropical rainforest, teeming with exotic plant and animal species. The trail winds its way through the dense undergrowth, offering glimpses of the towering peaks above. You’ll cross rushing streams and rivers, their crystal-clear waters a testament to the pristine beauty of the Rwenzori Mountains.
Day 2 takes you through the bamboo zone and into the alpine meadows, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. You’ll ascend to John Matte Camp, situated in a rocky outcrop with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The camp is nestled amidst a stunning array of alpine flowers, their vibrant colors a testament to the unique beauty of the Rwenzori Mountains.

Day 3 begins with a steep ascent through the heather and Rupenia zones, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. You’ll reach Skull Cave Camp, where you’ll pitch ground tents and immerse yourself in the beauty of the Rwenzori Mountains. The camp is situated amidst a stunning array of unique rock formations, their twisted shapes a testament to the incredible geological forces that have shaped the Rwenzori Mountains.
Day 4 takes you through the steep and demanding terrain, offering rewarding views of the surrounding landscape. You’ll reach Lac de Laluna Camp, situated in a rocky outcrop with stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The camp is nestled amidst a stunning array of alpine flowers, their vibrant colors a testament to the unique beauty of the Rwenzori Mountains.
Day 5 is the first summit day, where you’ll ascend to Mount Gessi, the first of the six peaks. You’ll walk through bouldering rocks and steep slopes, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. After capturing the moment, you’ll descend back to Lac de Laluna Camp.
Day 6 takes you to the summit of Mount Emin, the second peak of your expedition. You’ll walk through beautiful landscapes, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. After capturing the moment, you’ll descend back to Lac de Laluna Camp.
Day 7 begins with a descent from Lac de Laluna Camp to Bigo Camp, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. You’ll walk through the boggy tussocks of Bujjuku Lake, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
Day 8 takes you from Bigo Camp to Bujjuku Camp, situated in the Bujjuku Valley. You’ll walk through the boggy section, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
Day 9 is the third summit day, where you’ll ascend to Mount Speke, the third peak of your expedition. You’ll walk through steep trails and rocky terrains, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. After capturing the moment, you’ll descend back to Bujjuku Camp.
Day 10 takes you from Bujjuku Camp to Ellena Camp, situated in a rocky outcrop with stunning views of the surrounding landscape. You’ll walk through steep trails and rocky terrains, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
Day 11 is the fourth summit day, where you’ll ascend to Margherita Peak, the highest peak in the Rwenzori Mountains. You’ll walk through bouldering rocks and steep slopes, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. After capturing the moment, you’ll descend to Kitandara Camp, situated on the banks of the Lower Kitandara Lake.
Day 12 of our expedition takes you from Kitandara Camp to Freshfield Pass, where you’ll have the opportunity to summit Mount Baker, the fifth peak of your expedition. This challenging yet rewarding hike will take you through rocky terrains and glaciers, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. After capturing the moment at the summit, you’ll begin your descent to Freshfield Pass, where you’ll pitch ground tents for the night and rest in preparation for the final summit day.
Day 13 marks the final summit day of our expedition, where you’ll have the opportunity to ascend to Weisman Peak, the sixth and final peak of your expedition. This challenging hike will take you through rocky terrains and steep slopes, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. After capturing the moment at the summit, you’ll begin your descent to Guyeoman Camp, marking the end of your 13-day expedition.
