Day 1: The Adventure Begins – Welcome to Uganda!
Your journey starts as you are warmly welcomed by your Africa Reveal Safaris guide at Entebbe International Airport. We hit the road, heading north through vibrant towns and lush landscapes, our spirits high with anticipation. Our first stop is the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, a beacon of conservation success. Here, we embark on a thrilling on-foot safari, tracking the magnificent white rhinos in their natural habitat, an unforgettable start. We then continue to the serene outskirts of Murchison Falls National Park, where we check into our comfortable lodge for a delicious dinner and a peaceful night under the African stars.

Day 2: The Power of the Nile & Wild Encounters
After an early breakfast, we dive into Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest protected area. The morning is spent on a game drive across the rolling savannah of the Buligi Game Tracks, searching for elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, and a plethora of antelope. In the afternoon, we exchange our safari vehicle for a boat and embark on a breathtaking Nile Boat Cruise. We glide along the river, getting up close to hippos, crocodiles, and bathing elephants, all while sailing towards the spectacular view of the mighty Murchison Falls, where the Nile forces its entire volume through a narrow seven-meter gorge.

Day 3: To the Primate Capital of the World
We enjoy a final morning game drive in Murchison as we begin our scenic journey south. Today is a day of beautiful transitions, watching the landscape change from savannah to lush green highlands and fertile tea plantations. We drive through the heart of Uganda, absorbing the local culture and stunning vistas, before arriving at the doorstep of Kibale National Park in the late afternoon. Day 4: In Search of Our Cousins – Chimpanzee Tracking
Today, we enter the dense, tropical rainforest of Kibale, renowned as the primate capital of the world. After a briefing, we set off on our Chimpanzee Tracking adventure. The forest is alive with sound; the hoots of chimps echo through the canopy, guiding our way. The moment you lock eyes with these intelligent and playful creatures is pure magic. You may also see red colobus monkeys, grey-cheeked mangabeys, and L’Hoest’s monkeys. The afternoon is at your leisure to relax or choose an optional community walk to experience the local culture.

Day 5: From Tree-Climbing Lions to the Misty Mountains
We depart early for Queen Elizabeth National Park, with the majestic Rwenzori Mountains, the fabled “Mountains of the Moon” as our backdrop. We embark on an exciting game drive in the Kasenyi plains, known for its large kob populations and their predators, including lions and leopards. After lunch, we take a unique boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, a natural magnet for wildlife. Get your camera ready for enormous herds of buffalo, elephants, and hundreds of hippos yawning at the water’s edge. Later, we begin our picturesque journey to the highlands, arriving at our lodge near the mystical Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
