This 7-day wildlife and primates safari allows you to see the world's most powerful waterfall, Murchison Falls, which is located within Murchison Falls National Park on the Nile River.

Itinerary

Day 1

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

After arriving at Entebbe International Airport, begin your drive to Murchison Falls National Park with your guide, traveling along the Kampala Bombo route and stopping at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for black and white rhino trekking.

After a long day of rhino trekking, stop for lunch at Masindi Hotel. Continue your travel to Murchison Falls National Park after a delicious supper. Check into the lodge for dinner and overnight when you arrive at the park.

Day 2

An Early Morning Boat Cruise On the River Nile and Evening Game Drive

After a hearty breakfast at your resort, take a morning Nile River boat excursion. You will be able to witness a variety of animals along the Nile, including several bird species such as kingfishers and shoe bill storks. Your trip will begin at the foot of the Murchison Falls and will go upstream.

After a thrilling boat ride, trek to the top of the falls to see the region's largest concentration of species and a panoramic view of the park.

Retire for lunch as you prepare for an evening game drive in the park's northern sector, where you will see a variety of bird species as well as wild creatures such as water bucks, leopards, lions, warthogs, hyenas, elephants, buffalos, and hartebeests.

Day 3

Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Wake up early in the morning and start the journey to Kibale national park travelling western part of Uganda in Fort Portal District. Lunch break in Fort Portal town, after lunch embark to the journey to Kibale national park.

Check into your designated accommodation upon arrival, and then go on a community walk in the Bigodi wetlands to take photos and take in the gorgeous environment. Dinner and overnight stay at the resort

Day 4

Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Wetland Nature Walk

Early in the morning, after breakfast, report to the Headquarters (Kanyanchu Tourist Centre) for a briefing on the laws and regulations for chimp tracking.

After the briefing, venture into Kibale's dense forest in quest of the lovely apes; nonetheless, the trail offers opportunities to see other wild animals and a variety of bird species.

After spotting the chimps, you will be given an hour to photograph them and watch them feed, play, and swing from one branch to another before returning to the lodge for lunch.

Following lunch, you will proceed on a Bigodi wetland nature walk, where you will see a variety of bird species as well as various primate species. Retire to the lodge for Dinner and overnight.

Day 5

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for gorilla trekking after a morning breakfast. You will see a beautiful country side, stunning terrain, the western Rift valley, and the Baboon forest on your way to the park.

When you arrive in the park, check into your allocated lodge to rest before going gorilla trekking the next day.

Day 6

Mountain Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Experience

Following a hearty breakfast at your lodge, you will be transported to the park headquarters for a Mountain Gorilla trekking briefing.

After the briefing, you'll head into the dense Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in search of the enormous apes; after you've found them, you'll have an hour with them for interactions and photos. Lunch will be served at the resort.

After lunch, take a guided community walk on the Batwa route in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with the locals. You will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight after your wonderful encounter with the locals.

Day 7

Travel to Kampala with A Stopover at The Equator

Check out of the lodge after a morning breakfast and begin the journey to Kampala, Uganda's capital city, with a halt at the Equator for photos and historical stories.
