Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival at Entebbe international Airport

You will be met by an Africa Reveal Safaris guide at the Entebbe international airport and transferred to your reserved hotel in Kampala, where you will recover and prepare for tomorrow's activities.

Day 2

Travel to Queen Elizabeth National park

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park after a morning breakfast, traveling through southwestern Uganda to the spectacular western Rift Valley, with a photo stop near the Equator.

Begin your journey to the park by stopping for lunch in Mbarara. After checking in at the lodge, go on an exciting evening wildlife drive into the Kasenyi plains to see a variety of bird species and other wild animals. Dinner and sleeping at the lodge

Day 3

Morning Game Drive and evening Boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel

You will leave after breakfast for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains. The park not only provides excellent wildlife viewing opportunities, but also a fantastic birding experience for birders. The trip passes across vast open savannah grassland plains, which are home to big groups of white storks and Saddle-Billed storks.

Raptors such as the Brown Snake Eagle, Marsha Eagle, African Harrier Hawk, Bateleur, Grey Kestrel, and Walberg's Eagle can be seen in the plains.

Return to the lodge for some rest and lunch before heading out on an evening boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel to see thousands of hippos, elephants, and migratory bird species like white-winged black-terns, pink and white-backed pelicans, grey-headed gulls, African Skimmers, Mourning Doves, and water Dickers. Retire to the Lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 4

Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

You will be transferred to Lake Bunyonyi, also known as "Africa's Switzerland," after a morning breakfast. After checking into your allocated accommodation, drive off to visit Lake Bunyonyi, Uganda's deepest lake. After dinner, retire to the lodge for the night.

Day 5

Visit Islands and an after Nature Walk

Following a morning meal at your lodge, you will board a canoe to explore numerous islands while taking in the abundant birdlife.

Back to the lodge for lunch before heading to Mukoni Village for an evening nature walk through small farms with spectacular views in search of many bird species such as Red-chested sunbirds, Black Kites, Swamp Flycatchers, African Hobby, Scarlet-chested, White-headed Saw-wings, and Bronze-chested sunbirds. Dinner and an overnight stay at the resort

Day 6

Back to Kampala

You will enjoy an early morning breakfast on your final day at Lake Bunyonyi, then check out and transfer back to Kampala, stopping for lunch en route in Mbarara town. Set out on your journey to Kampala, where you will be dropped off at your Entebbe hotel

Day 7

Visit the Botanical Gardens in Entebbe

After a morning breakfast at your hotel, visit the Entebbe Botanical Gardens to see many different bird species such as the Uganda crested Crane, Great Blue Turaco, Red-chested Sun Birds, Black Kite, Swamp Flycatcher, African Hobby, Scarlet-chested, White-headed Saw-wing, and Bronze-chested Sun Bird.

Return to your hotel to conclude your 7-day birding safari.
