Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival at the Entebbe international Airport

Your safari guide will meet you at the Entebbe international airport and transport you to the hotel that we reserved for you in Kampala.

Day 2

Travel to Murchison falls national park with a visit to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary

After an early morning meal, depart for Murchison Falls National Park via the Kampala Bombo route, stopping at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for black and white rhino trekking along the way.

After a delicious lunch at Masindi Hotel, continue your journey to Murchison Falls National Park. Check into the lodge for dinner and rest when you arrive at the park.

Day 3

Boat cruise on the Nile River and evening Game drive

After a hearty breakfast at your resort, take a morning Nile River boat excursion. You will be able to witness a variety of animals along the Nile, including several bird species such as kingfishers and shoe bill storks; your journey will begin at the foot of the Murchison Falls and then go upstream.

After a thrilling boat ride, ascend to the top of the falls to see the highest concentration of aquatic animals in the world.

Retire for lunch as you prepare for an evening game drive in the park's northern sector, where you will see a variety of bird species as well as wild creatures such as water bucks, leopards, lions, warthogs, hyenas, elephants, buffalos, and hartebeests.

Day 4

Morning game drive and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park

After breakfast at your lodge, go on a morning game drive to see if there are any animals that you missed the day before.

Return to the lodge for check-out and begin your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing through stunning scenery, crater lakes, escarpments, and the Ruwenzori mountain ranges. Check into your lodge for dinner and then retire when you arrive at the park.

Day 5

Morning Game drive and an evening boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel

Early morning meal before heading out on a morning game drive in the Kasenyi area, where you might see elephants, lions, antelopes, warthogs, and buffaloes

After a thrilling adventure spotting wild animals, return to the lodge for lunch before embarking on a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel to see a variety of birds such as pelicans, kingfishers, and saddle-billed storks, as well as mammals such as hippos, crocodiles, hyenas, elephants, and buffaloes, among others.

Day 6

Chimp Tracking in the Kyambura Gorge and Departure

After an early breakfast, proceed to the headquarters offices for a briefing on chimp tracking; following the briefing, proceed to Kyambura Gorge in search of the chimps; once found, see them as they play, feed, and swing from trees.

Return to the lodge for lunch, then check out and travel for Kampala, stopping along the way to see the Equator for historic anecdotes and images. Continue on to Kampala to complete our journey.
