Itinerary
Day 1
Drive from Kampala to Murchison falls National ParkAfter a great breakfast at your Kampala or Entebbe lodging, head for Murchison Falls National Park at 7:00 a.m.
You will be transported to the north of Uganda, and after around 3 hours of driving, you will arrive in the Nakasongola district, where you will visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Uganda's sole wild Rhino population.
After roughly 6-7 hours on the road, you will arrive in the late afternoon, and the driver will provide you with an interesting overview of the en-route destinations.
Take a break for lunch in Masindi Town, then enter the park by one of the entrance gates and continue driving around the park while observing rare wild animals.
Later, take a trek to the top of the falls, where you'll be rewarded with a spectacular view of the Murchison Falls and the neighboring Uhuru Falls.

Travel time: 6-7 hours.
Day 2
Morning game drive and launch cruiseBreakfast is served before heading out on a wildlife drive to see Cape buffaloes, elephants, Uganda kobs, oribis, Topis, warthogs, giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, common elands, and Defassa waterbucks.
If you start your game drive early, you'll likely see nocturnal animals like lions, leopards, and spotted hyenas still hunting or on their way back to their dens. Return to the Lodge for lunch after driving across the Park for 3-4 hours.
Take a launch cruise along the Victoria Nile to the bottom of the Murchison Falls in the afternoon. Elephants, Uganda Kobs, buffaloes, and other wildlife can be seen on the banks, while Nile crocodiles and hippos sunbathe in the shallow waters.
During the spectacular boat ride, bird species such as pied kingfishers, African fish eagles, malachite kingfishers, and shoebills are expected. For dinner and the night, return to the Lodge.

Day 3
Transfer to Kibale Forest National ParkHave breakfast and check-out of the Lodge for a transfer to Kibale Forest National Park through the jaw-dropping areas of the Albertine Rift Valley Escarpments and the countryside.
Have Lunch in Hoima Town and arrive Kibale Forest National Park in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 4
Chimpanzee tracking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National ParkEarly in the morning, have a superb Continental breakfast before heading to the Park Headquarters for a briefing on the giant apes-Chimpanzees, after which you will hunt the dense jungle for them.
The tracking lasts one to three hours and includes the chance to see other primate species such as grey-crowned cranes, black and white colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, L'Hoests' monkeys, and red-tailed monkeys, as well as several forest bird species, unique butterfly, reptile, and Amphibian species.
Hearing some of the chimps' sounds, the guide will announce their presence and spend an hour with them. Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park after returning to the Lodge for lunch.
Arrive in the evening for supper and overnight after a 3-4 hour drive via the calm city of Fort Portal, rich tea plantations, and far views of the Rwenzori Mountains.

Day 5
Game drive and Boat CruiseStart day 5 of your 6 day Uganda Chimpanzee Tour and Wildlife Safari with an early breakfast before heading to the Kasenyi Area of the Park for a game drive.
Look for elephants, warthogs, buffaloes, lion prides, spotted hyenas, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, bushbucks, and a variety of other animals.
Drive past some of the Crater Lakes, which are known for migrating bird species, particularly flamingos.
Return to the resort for a hot dinner before embarking on a boat excursion down the picturesque Kazinga Channel, which allows you to see animals up close and personal, such as gigantic hippos snorting just meters away from the boat and Nile crocodiles.
The Kazinga Channel's lush coastlines are also home to a variety of species, including pink-backed pelicans, African fish eagles, Pied and Malachite kingfishers, grey-crowned cranes, saddle-billed storks, and many others. Return to the Lodge for dinner and a restful night's sleep.

Day 6
Return to KampalaBreakfast in the morning and a drive to the Crater Lakes before heading for Kampala. Lunch in Mbarara Town, then another stop at the Uganda Equator for photographic opportunities before arriving in the evening
