Itinerary

Day 1

Transfer To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

When you arrive at Entebbe International Airport, your safari guide will meet you and transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through the Kampala-Masaka Highway, with a stopover near the Equator for photographs and historical stories.

Begin your journey with a stop at Mbarara for lunch. Continue on your adventure through the Kigezi Highlands, sometimes known as "Africa's Switzerland." Check in for dinner and overnight when you arrive at the park.

Day 2

Mountain Gorilla Trekking And Batwa Experience

For a Gorilla trekking trip, get up early in the morning. For Gorilla trekking briefings, go to the park headquarters. Following the briefing, you will be assigned to a different group of people.

In quest of Mountain Gorilla groups, enter the deep forest of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Once you meet the Mountain gorillas, you will only be able to hike with one group.

As you go to and from the forest, you will have opportunities to see pygmies (Batwa people), who are mostly forest inhabitants and fruit pickers. Dinner and an overnight stay at the resort

Day 3

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park with an Evening Boat Cruise

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park after a hearty breakfast, passing via the Ishasha area and the possibility to see tree climbing Lions on the tall fig trees.

After checking into the lodge, take a nighttime boat trip on the Kazinga canal to see creatures such as hippopotamus, crocodiles, elephants, and a variety of bird species like as shoe bills and kingfishers. After dinner, retire to the lodge for the night.

Day 4

Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

After a hearty breakfast, go on a morning game drive over the Kasenyi plains in search of lions, hyenas, kobs, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, warthogs, and antelopes, as well as a variety of bird species.

Return to the resort for lunch before departing for the Kibale Forest National Park. You'll be able to see crater lakes and the remote Rwenzori highlands on the Mountain Rwenzori along the trip. Check into the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay when you arrive.

Day 5

Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Swamp Walk

Early morning breakfast followed by a trip to the wildlife range station for chimp trekking briefing. Following the briefing, we headed to the Kibale forest in search of primates.

Once you've found them, you'll have an hour with them to observe how they feed, play, and swing from one branch to the next.

Return to the lodge for a meal. After lunch, go for a nature walk at the Bigodi wetlands refuge, where you may see a variety of birds and monkeys. Return to the lodge for dinner and a restful night's sleep.

Day 6

Departure

After a morning breakfast at your resort, check out and explore the craters lakes before continuing on to Kampala via various settlements.

You will be dropped off at Entebbe International Airport for your departing flight or at your Kampala hotel to conclude your 6 Day Uganda Budget Safari.
